In Memory of Challenger

25 years ago the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded on throttle up. I felt like paying tribute to the lives that were lost.

Very true. What is supposed to be a historic moment in your family history ends up as a tragedy. The shock of going from excitement to utter terror must be so terrible. The Space Shuttle is an amazing vehicle and really doesn't get the credit it deserves from the tax payers. People don't watch the launches anymore. Most people can't even name an astronaut and most people do not know that the last time we went to the moon was 1972.
