It was jewish or hebrew marriage. If I remember correctly, christians didn't exist yet. Christians as you should know don't follow the old laws. If you want to know what christians believe then read the words of christ

not all laws are created by god. laws are also created by man. nowhere in this scripture does it say god made this law.
