Renaissance Faire

We went to the Renaissance Faire with some of my brothers and sisters and their kids. We had lots of fun watching Jousting, magic shows and eating turkey legs. Here are some pictures.

Fly A Kite!

If you are looking for fun and you only have a couple of dollars to spend I suggest you go out and get a kite. Although it was not a very windy day, Mandi and I went up Provo Canyon and got a pretty good run with out kites.

Accident Update!

So I did my homework this morning and reported the accident to my insurance company and her own insurance company. Well it turns out that her insurance is expired. So now I'm contacting the Orem Police department and then my brother in law Jere (great lawyer) for some legal advice. Now I have to pay a tow fee and wait until I figure out how this is all going to be paid for. I'm sure it's going to come to court so I'm dreading the next few months. This is really going to suck!

Whoops!

So some lady decided to drive up on the sidewalk to pass us, nailed the right side of our car and decided to take off. Mandi braved chasing after her like an action star on a flat tire and messed up alignment. We caught up to the lady who was trying to hide in a near by parking lot. Oh I gave her a few choice words and we had a witness to the accident. The cops came and took down a full report and they knew that our story was the true version. So our car was towed to a body shop and we will hear from the insurance company tomorrow. This should be interesting. CRAZY LADY.

Easter Eggs and Stupid Faces

On Saturday night we invited Jyllian and Jason over to die Easter eggs. We had some cool ideas but in the end they ended up turning out very juvenile. As you can see we also turned into a bunch of kids making the stupidest, ugliest faces we possibly could.

Mandi, Still on the wall at UVU

It's been over four years since she decided to quit ballroom dance and Mandi is still on the wall of the dance department. I see her pictures every time I pass through the main hallway at school. I took a photo of the wall with my camera phone and I circled every picture that she is in. Many are just photos of only her. Check it out

Weekend Bike Ride

A little over a week ago I had spring break and to regain my sanity Mandi and I went on a bike ride with our friends Jyllian and Jason. It was so refreshing that we took the same bike ride again on Sunday. It was a beautiful day to go up Provo Canyon. The following are pictures we took along the way.

Lonely Apollo

This week I got my birthday present. It was a 10mm X-Cel eyepiece for my telescope. Although I live in the city and the light pollution does not make for a very clear image, I got a great shot of the moon while testing my new eyepiece out last night.
Now all I need is a nice barlow lens and one more high powered lens to do some good astronomy. Almost there.

New Old Car

So yesterday I went out and bought myself another beetle because I need some transportation and we got our tax return. I decided to pick the ugliest thing I could find so I wouldn't have intentions of fixing it up. Funny thing is this bug runs better than any other bug I've had. I drove it from Logan to Orem without any problems.

We also decided to stop off at Hill Airforce base on the way home to take some pictures
